Where it began
In Finnish, a vahti is the person who stays awake so everyone else doesn't have to — the night watchman who walks the halls, checks the doors, and says nothing unless something is wrong. Good watching, it turns out, is mostly silence. That felt like exactly what a home sensor should be.
So we built one. A small device that pays attention to the air, the temperature, the sound levels — the physics of a home, never the people in it. It doesn't listen to words or look at faces, because a good vahti doesn't need to. It just keeps watch, and when everything is fine, it lets you rest.
What we believe
